Magnetic / Electrostatic Separators

Magnetic and Electrostatic separators cover a wide range of equipment, their basic principle is either the use of electromagnets that attract metallic type ore from a slurry such as a wet drum magnet and wet high-intensity magnet (WHIMS). Electrostatic separators such as rare earth magnets pretty well do the same task they attract the conductive material out of a stream of ore. All these types of equipment are used throughout the mining industry from Mineral sands production to manganese refining

When purchasing second-hand or used units try and find the manufactures tag which if still readable will give you a make and model, from there you should be able to look up the gauss strength and see if it is suitable for your operation.
