Bin Blaster
Bin blasters are used to send shock waves through a bin to assist with the free movement of the ore. Not all ore is dry and free-flowing when it is loaded into a bin or hopper, a small amount of moisture can assist with this material sticking to itself or the sides of a bin. In this case, a common term a rat hole appears and no ore drops down to keep the forward process with feed. When this happens the bin blaster fires a bolt of compressed air into the bin which allows the ore to drop and the process to continue unhampered
We would suggest stripping and checking out the internals of a second-hand bin blaster before putting it into service, also check the volume of air required to make the unit operate correctly, and ensure your own air supply meets those parameters.
